Wolverton: Is dockless iPod/iPhone speaker system worth premium price?

If you have an iPod or iPhone, chances are that you are at least contemplating about getting a speaker system for it.
These devices are an excellent way to share music with family and friends or to fill a room - not just your ears - with her.
An issue with most iPod speaker systems, your device must be connected to him. That's OK for an iPod, which is primarily a music game of the device, but not an iPhone, which does much more. While listening to music on your iPhone, you may need to check your e-mail or surf the Web, which is difficult to do while they're plugged into a speaker system.
So I was intrigued by the Sonos ZonePlayer system new 'S5 Keynoter. In form and design, it resembles other high-end iPod or iPhone tub thumper systems. Unlike its rivals, it lacks an iPod dock because you submit it wirelessly with an iPhone or an iPod using a Sonos designed app.
I like the idea of the S5. And I often enjoy listening to music on it.But it is often frustrating to use and, ultimately, I think, is not the usefulness of its high price.
